Community Events: Nourishing Body, Mind & Community Spirit

At Commence CIC, our events bring people together in safe, welcoming spaces to share, connect, and heal. We host regular Wellbeing Days and community gatherings that support physical nourishment, emotional well-being, and social connection, especially for those experiencing hardship or isolation.

Wellbeing / Retreat Days

Our wellbeing or retreat days are immersive experiences designed to restore and uplift. Hosted in natural and accessible community spaces, these events focus on self-care, mental health, and connection. Activities may include:

  • Guided mindfulness and grounding exercises

  • Nature walks and ecotherapy sessions

  • Massage, energy balancing, and relaxation techniques

  • Creative arts, journaling, and self-expression

  • Talks on mental health, emotional resilience, and self-care tools

These days are open to all and particularly benefit people experiencing stress, burnout, low confidence, or social isolation.

Why our Events Matter

Our events are rooted in the belief that community is medicine. They provide vital relief for people facing insecurity, loneliness, or emotional hardship and create opportunities to connect, heal, and grow.

Every event is inclusive, Holistic Healing -informed, and run by trained facilitators and volunteers who understand the importance of empathy, cultural sensitivity, and care.
